Faculty, Staff & Retirees
Roughly 20% of faculty, staff, and retirees give to Mizzou each year through the annual It's My Mizzou campaign and other charitable giving opportunities. In the last fiscal year, Mizzou employees accounted for more than $5.2 million in private gifts to the University.
Every gift — in any amount — makes a difference. Contributions may be made to any area of MU. In addition to the option to give by check or credit card, many employees make gifts through pledges and payroll deduction, as described below.
Thank you for investing your talents and your resources in our great university. Imagine what we can accomplish together.
Mizzou Payroll Deduction
If you want to make a contribution to Mizzou through payroll deduction, you can do so through online payroll deduction. If you prefer, you also can print and complete this form and send to Mizzou Gift Processing, 407 Reynolds Alumni Center, Columbia, MO 65211. Contributions through payroll deduction begin the first available pay date after the form is received and processed. Single/one-time contributions may be made via check or credit card as noted below.
Simplicity and ease of delivery are the major factors that make checks a popular type of charitable gift. To send a check, please complete a gift form and mail it with a check payable to the University of Missouri to:

To make a gift using a credit card, you can give online or download and print a gift form for credit card payment.
When you make a gift to Mizzou, you will receive an official receipt by mail. Please check the gift receipt carefully to verify the gift amount and the programs to which you designated your gift.
Mizzou accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards for payments of gifts and pledges.
Membership is an affordable way to make an impact on Mizzou every day. Annual membership is available at a discounted rate to faculty and staff, plus annual membership is 100% tax-deductible. As an added benefit, only available to faculty and staff, you may choose to pay for a life membership via payroll deduction. (And remember – you do not have to be a graduate of Mizzou to join – we welcome all friends and fans!)
Designating a gift in your will or trust is one of the easiest forms of planned giving. Care should be exercised in the wording of a bequest in order to ensure your wishes are fulfilled.
Charitable Gift Annuities
Transfer cash or other assets to Mizzou in exchange for an annuity for life or for a term of years. Charitable gift annuity rates are based on your age. After the annuity payments end, the balance goes to support the program or purpose you have designated.
Charitable Reminder Trusts
Transfer cash or other assets to a charitable remainder trust, which is invested. Quarterly income from the trust is paid to you or to others you have chosen. When the trust is terminated, the remaining funds are transferred to the University.
