How do I create an account?
All you need to get started is your MU ID. You can find your MU ID on a recent gift receipt, the address label of your MIZZOU Magazine or your Mizzou Alumni Association membership card. Click here to get started.
Your login information is the same for both the Giving to Mizzou and Mizzou Alumni Association websites. If you have already activated an account through either of those websites, then simply enter your existing username and password to login. For login assistance, please contact the Office of Donor Relations at 877-738-4546 during business hours, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CST).
Please note that the Tiger Scholarship Fund requires a different username and password to view your donor rank. To manage your Tiger Scholarship Fund account, click here.
Is my information on My MU Giving secure?
Your privacy is very important to us. We keep your giving information private and safe. The website is encrypted using the https web protocol. Users are authenticated by using their name and MU ID. Please keep this information private and always log off when using the site.
How often is my information updated?
If you update your contact information or email preferences, your information will be updated by the following business day. Once a gift has been processed, it should appear on your giving history within three to five business days. Gifts made directly to Mizzou Athletics or an MU-affiliated foundation may be initially processed at the departmental level and take a few additional days to appear on your giving history.
What is the difference between primary and total gift credit?
Your primary credit includes gifts for which you have received tax credit as the legal donor. Also known as "hard credit," your primary credit includes all cash and planned gifts.
Your total gift credit includes all gift credit to the university, including gift credit beyond the donor of record. This includes any gifts for which you have received secondary credit (also known as “soft credit”) for gifts made by a significant other who was the primary donor, as well as gifts-in-kind and matching gifts. Undocumented planned gifts are not factored into your giving history. To document a planned gift, please contact the Office of Planned Giving & Endowments at 1-800-970-9977 or 573-882-0272 during business hours, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CST).
Why does my giving differ from my significant other’s?
Your significant other has a separate MU ID to view his or her personal giving information. One of you might have been giving longer or might be the primary donor on gifts. These are some of the common reasons your primary giving could differ. For additional information on your giving history, please contact Gift Processing at 573-884-7709 or email email@example.com.
